Oral Hygiene

Excellent oral hygiene is especially important while undergoing orthodontic treatment. If plaque and food debris are not removed, several negative results may occur.  These outcomes may include permanent white marks, cavities, and inflamed gums.  And, inflammation is known to slow tooth movement.  So, good oral hygiene can actually help you finish your orthodontic treatment faster!  Because good oral hygiene is SO important, our office includes a top-of-the-line Oral B electric toothbrush for every patient who starts full orthodontic treatment.
